Arcfox T1 Electric Crossover Set for Nepal Launch Ahead of NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026

Laxmi e-Mobility, the authorized distributor of BAIC and Arcfox vehicles in Nepal, is preparing to launch the Arcfox T1 EV ahead of the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.

The new electric crossover is expected to arrive in the Nepali market before the country's biggest mobility exhibition, allowing prospective buyers to experience the vehicle ahead of its public display at the expo.

The Arcfox T1 is positioned as a compact electric crossover that combines the practicality of a hatchback with SUV-inspired styling. It measures 4,337 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,573 mm in height, while its 2,750 mm wheelbase promises a spacious cabin for five occupants.

Powering the T1 is a 95 kW (127 PS) front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor that delivers 176 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 42.3 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack. As per the company, the EV offers a CLTC-certified driving range of up to 425 km.

Performance figures indicate that the T1 can accelerate from 0-50 km/h in 5.2 seconds and from 50-80 km/h in 3.9 seconds, making it responsive for both city traffic and highway overtaking.

The electric crossover has a claimed top speed of over 150 km/h, a maximum gradeability of 30 percent, and an energy consumption rating of 12.0 kWh/100 km (CLTC).

On the technology front, the Arcfox T1 is expected to feature Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)along with a suite of modern safety technologies. The vehicle has also been developed to comply with China's C-NCAP safety standards, reinforcing its focus on occupant protection.

Although Laxmi e-Mobility has yet to announce the official pricing and complete feature list, the Arcfox T1 is expected to compete in Nepal's increasingly competitive mid-range EV segment.

Industry sources suggest the electric crossover could be priced in the Rs 40 lakh to Rs 45 lakh range, placing it against rivals such as the BYD Dolphin, Dongfeng Nammi Box, Proton e.MAS 5, and other similarly priced electric cars.

The company is expected to reveal the official pricing, variant lineup, and booking details during its launch event ahead of the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, where the Arcfox T1 will be among the new electric vehicles making their debut in the Nepali market.
